As part of the Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council Civic Festival, we are hosting a evening of chess at Fairway Hall, Brook Close,  WD6 5BT starting around 7.30pm.

We are planning to have a friendly  chess tournament with free light refreshments and a prize for the winner. The format is likely to be ten minutes each per game.

All ages and abilities welcome.

If you like football as well as chess, this is the first day after the Euro 2012 Group stages, and the quarter finals only start the next day. So no excuses!
